Continuing our mission of elevating our products and highlighting the craftsmanship on the island of Puerto Rico, we reveal our most intricate item to date. By partnering with Yazmín “Yayi” Pérez, the Details Matter Team was not only able to obtain valuable insight from a seasoned and talented designer, but was also provided the opportunity to create a lasting garment that embodies the spirit of the Details Matter lifestyle. The result is the Details Matter De La Isla Overshirt. The De La Isla Overshirt is made with 9 ounce Vienna herringbone 100% cotton and includes recycled organic buttons. A minimalist Details Matter woven label decorates the inside collar. Meanwhile, a logo patch is cross-stitched in the inside shirt flap, containing care instructions and an additional button. Two 6 x 7.5 inch front pockets decorate the front of the De La Isla Overshirt, containing flaps that conceal the attached buttons.
Ultimately, this item is meant to pay homage to the designers, artists, and workers of the island. We will continue to elevate the quality of our garments and we look forward to producing more cut and sew products locally in the near future. We Are The Details.
